Holds

To place a hold, comment on this entry with the character you would like us to hold. You should receive a comment confirming your hold within 1 day, if not sooner - we like to be on top of these things!

Holds last for 3 days with an available extension of 1 day. 1 additional extension is only allowed as long as no other holds have been placed on this character.

If a character is marked pending (see the key) this indicates that the moderators have received an application, but have yet to make a decision about it or are in the process of adding the character to the community.

Challenges

Challenges to holds are allowed. A number in parentheses beside a name — (2), for example — indicates there are that many holds on that character. Challenges have 3 days to complete their application and no extensions will be granted to a challenging hold unless the first hold falls through. After the character is marked pending challenges are no longer allowed - only holds made before the character is marked pending will be considered.

Rejected Applications

If your application is rejected, you're free to re-apply for this character or apply for a different character. You will be notified VIA private message to the account used to apply why you were rejected immediately, if that is the case (we know how pesky it is to wait for a response on that!) If you're asked for a re-write, you'll be asked to elaborate on certain areas because the moderators were undecided and want a better feel of your character before making a decision. Re-writes are treated as holds (comment with the character you want held below to confirm you'd like to try a re-write) and challenges are allowed. Re-writes are not allowed extensions.

Time Travelers

The only characters that are time travelers are from Marauder and Trio Era, Next-Gen characters will be put into the game serving as liaisons and will have an important role in the village but are from the "present day" of 2025.

Original Characters

We are currently not accepting original characters. Those names that are canon not found on this list may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Canon

Characters must be created as close to canon as possible. Female versions of characters that are canonically male are allowed, but please keep them to a bare minimum. In short, we don't want 20 female death eaters - it's just not very plausible, therefore, we'll cap these at certain times over the course of the game.

PBs

This RP holds PBs on a first come, first serve basis. Please see the rules and F.A.Q page for any restrictions or guidelines regarding played-bys.

Key

Bold indicate characters are most wanted for a storyline within the community.
Italicized characters are held.
Strike-outs denotes an application is pending, at which point a character can no longer be held.
Links indicate characters that are taken.
bold strikeout indicates that the character is on an indefinite hold (ie a hold that has been granted a special extension that can't be challenged or an accepted application that doesn't have a character specific journal to link to yet.)
* Marauder era characters are sorted onto a side for the purpose of finding them easily, these sides are not final and therefore will likely change as they are applied for.
* Some characters were active canonically in both eras but are only found on one of the two tables, an applicant may submit them from any time that they may have been active during between 1970-2000. IE: Bellatrix Black is on the character list for Marauder era but may be played as traveling from 1994.

PLEASE NOTE: This list is in no way, shape or form, complete. Any canon witch or wizard who would have been 16 or over during their time of their time travel found on the lexicon may be added below so please let us know if there's someone not here that you'd like to play!
